Playing in the tennis tournament was continued yesterday with the following results:

In the fourth round in the singles, Lee and Shaw played three closer sets than the score indicates, the result being a victory for the former by the following score: Lee beat Shaw, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4. Lee played his usual slow, steady game, while Shaw played carelessly. Lee plays Chase in the finals today at 12 o'clock on Jarvis.

In the doubles, first round, G. Kingsley and G. F. Brown beat Amory and Parker, 6-1, 5-7, 6-4. Orcutt and Potter beat Crosby and Curtis, 6-4, 6-1. W. L. Kingsley and Jennings beat Lee and Tallant 6-2, 6-4. Tailer and Chase beat Newell and Grew, 6-2, 6-4.

In the second round, the match between Kingsley and Jennings and Tailer and Chase was unfinished, and will be played off today. The first set resulted in a victory for Kingsley and Jennings, eight games to six. With the score five to two in their favor, Kingsley and Jennings went to pieces and by wretched playing lost the next three games. Owing to darkness further playing was postponed until today.
