To-day Princeton plays Yale at New Haven.

The Class Day exercises at Columbia were held last Thursday.

The two half-backs of the Exeter eleven will enter Yale, '91.

Last night the Yale Freshman Glee Club gave a concert on the famous "Fence."

Dr. McCosh of Princeton, N. J., is ill with bronchitis, the result of a cold contracted several days ago.

The services at Appleton Chapel next Sunday and the Sunday following will be conducted by Rev. Alexander McKenzie.

The Holy Cross College nine has succeeded in arranging a game with the Harvard College nine in Worcester, Saturday, June 18.

The deciding game for the amateur base-ball championship of the college, which is to be played by the Victors and Volunteers, is scheduled for today.

"The Pitcher," a statuette, executed by a Yale student, with Stagg, '88, as a model, is on exhibition at the Art School exhibition at Yale, which opened Thursday.

Coxe, '87, and Sherrill, '89, have received offers from the Manhattan Athletic Club of New York, to go to England in July with a picked team, which will contest with the British champions.- Ex.

A Harvard senior proposes to have a composite picture of his class and one of the senior class at Wellesley made into one, which he will exhibit as a good type of the coming American.- Ex. Who is he?

English 5.-Members of this section who wish to consult their second half year's themes in preparation for the examination will find them on the table in Sever 1. Juniors will return them before the examination.

In the early part of this week, Page of the University of Pennsylvania broke his record in the running high-jump at the Brooklyn Athletic Association games. He cleared 6 feet 2 1-16 inches. He sails for England to-day to contest with the English high-jumpers.

History 20. - Students who wish to take this course will please consult with the instructor before June 15. The stated hours of meeting during the years 1887-88, will be 10 a.m. on Wednesday and Friday, instead of Monday and Wednesday as announced.

The rumor that appeared in the Boston Globe of yesterday, to the effect that Stagg had been so severely injured by a thrown ball that he would be unable to play any more ball this year, has been denied, and is probably without foundation.

The editorial board of the "Harvard Law Review" for the years 1887-88 will be composed as follows: President, Marland C. Hobbs; Secretary and Treasurer, Henry M. Williams; B. G. Davis, B. H. Lee, R. S. German, C. W. Cowles, W. Williams, H. H. Johnson, J. M. Merriam, G. R. Nutter, P. C. Ransom. Messrs. Hobbs and Williams, the officers of the new board, were the presidents of the DAILY CRIMSON in 1884 and 1885.

English 6.- Students who wish to take the course in oral discussion must apply in person to one of the instructors at one of the times and places mentioned below. The number of students in this course is limited to thirty. Particulars may be found in the new pamphlet describing the course in English. F. W. Taussig may be consulted at 20 Holworthy on June 8 and 10, from 2 to 3 p.m., and A. B. Hart at 7 Hollis, on June 7 and 9, from 2 to 3 p.m.
