Princeton to-day at 3 p.m.

The Pittsburgs and Volunteers will play this morning on Jarvis at 10.30 a.m.

The freshman nine will play the newly organized Brooklines, May 30th, at 10 a.m.

Mr. Justin McCarthy's novels have been translated into Swedish and published at Stockholm.

Seniors are reminded that this is the last day for signing for the complimentary dinner to the crew.

The spring election to membership in the Scroll and Key and the Skull and Bones, the two leading secret societies at Yale took place this week. Two-thirds of the members were from the East, while the rest were divided between the West and South.

From the Yale News: "The Harvard, Yale, and University of Pennsylvania athletic teams will spend three days in New York, prior to the games on Saturday, in order that the men may have a chance to practice on the Manhattan track.

E. R. Shippen, '87, presided at the Glee Club dinner Wednesday evening at the Parker House, L. Honore, '88, acted as orator, and W. W. Winslow, '85, as poet. S. A. Elliot, '84, and A. G. Mason, '86, former presidents of the club were present as guests. After the dinner and the customary speeches, songs, etc., several young ladies on Commonwealth avenue and Newbury street were serenaded by the club.

Williams leads the American intercollegiate league, with no defeats.

It is not known whether Willard will play to-day or not. His knee is still very lame and swollen. Henshaw will probably play right field. If Willard does not play, Choate will probably take his place at first base.

The following is taken from the Cornell Sun: "Cornell out-fielded and outbatted Harvard but lost the game through failure to bunch their hits, not through the umpire and the crowd as was wrongly reported at first."

Spanish I. - A one-hour examination will be held in University 17, instead of the stated recitation on Wednesday, June 1. No books whatever are to be brought into the examination. Blank books will be furnished by the instructor. Prose composition on certain sections of "Eco."
