The annual inter-class handicap match of the Shooting Club came off Wednesday afternoon. The senior team allowed '88 and '89 fifteen points each, and '90 twenty points. This handicap was two liberal, and proved too great an obstacle, for the '87 team to overcome. The conditions of the match were 4-men teams, each man to shoot at 25 clay birds, 5 angles, 18 yards rise. The freshmen won handily with a lead of 7 birds. They shot extremely well, and bid fair to prove worthy successors to the graduating '87 team. Appended is the score:
'89 Team - Perry, 10; Grew, 12; Greene, 14; Walsh, 5; total 41; handicap, 59.
'88 Team - Clyde, 16; D. C. Holden, 9; O. H, Holden, 10; re-entry, 9; total, 44; handicap, 59.
