Williams plays Brown again to-day at Providence.

To-day Harvard plays Princeton at Princeton, and Yale plays Columbia at New York.

The New York State Intercollegiate Athletic Meeting was held at Syracuse Thursday last.

The Princeton Lacrosse Team plays the Harvard twelve this afternoon on Jarvis field at 3 o'clock.

Mr. Lund is slowly recovering from a strained hip and will probably run at New York next Saturday.

Campbell will catch in the game against Princeton to day. Linn will at third base and Choate in right field.

The students of the law and political science schools at Columbia intend to start a monthly publication known as the "Law Times."

Henshaw did not accompany the nine to Princeton yesterday. His hand is still in poor condition and it will be fortunate if he is able to play in next Saturday's game against Princeton.

A course of four lectures will be given by members of History 20 to the members of History 13 and 17. Mr. William Barnes will deliver the first lecture of this series to-day before History 13. His topic is "The Civil History of President Lincoln's Administration."

Dartmouth beat Amherst Thursday by a score of 26 to 7.

The annual commencement of the College of Physicians and Surgeons, the medical department of Columbia College, was held last week. Degrees were conferred on 106 graduates. - Ex.

McKean, centre fielder of the Freshman team, whose ankle was sprained in the last '89-90 game, is recovering rapidly. He will not be able to play, however, for two weeks. His loss will be severely felt by '90.

One of Boston's witticisms: "Harvard's ball nine hasn't any business to play with the Yale men this year. This is what the Cornell ball players say, who have met the nines of both the great New England colleges this week." - Record.

H. H. Baker, Dartmouth, '63, has offered the following prizes for competition by undergraduates and alumni of Dartmouth: $100 for the best original words for a Dartmouth song, and $100 for the best original music for the same. - Ex.

Last, week a photograph of all the students at Exeter was taken in front of the academy. There was an exciting rush between '88 and '89 to gain possession of the steps, and afterwards between '88 and '87, in both of which '88 was successful.
