The candidates for the Harvard University team have now been at work in the field for a week and a half, and the team has played in two practice games. Judging from the practice work and the playing in the games, Harvard will have a very weak team in the field this year, unless a decided improvement is made. The fielding of the infield has been very poor, most of the errors in the games being inexcusable. From the present outlook the team will lose the championship through poor fielding. - Boston Herald.
