On Friday a committee of the alumni reported the names of the following gentlemen as candidates for members of the Board of Overseers to be elected this summer:

The vacancies to be filled on Commencement day, June 29, 1887, are five for the full term of six years, the place of Messrs E. E. Hale, E. R. Hoar, Morrill Wyman, Theodore Lyman and Francis C. Lowell, whose term of office expires on Commencement day. Messrs. Lyman and Lowell are eligible for re-election. Mr. Hoar declines to be a candidate for another term.
