G. R. PAYSON, Jr,The second of the Natural History Society's talks occurs this evening when Mr. S. H. Scudder, recently assistant librarian of the University will have a few words on "Massachusetts Butterflies." Those who have read his enjoyable book, "Butterflies" know how much that is pleasant is to be expected to-night. The talk has perhaps an additional interest because it occurs on Mr. Scudder's fiftieth birthday, following a celebration of that event in which his scientific friends have joined to do him honor. The society extends a cordial invitation to all students to attend these meetings on our fauna, which are purposely made very informal and with abundant illustration.
