A communication has been received from Amherst asking if the students of Harvard would support a concert given here by the Amherst Glee Club and Banjo Club. As the desire was expressed that this communication should be made public this opportunity is taken to give the matter attention. It would be well if the management of the Glee Club and also of the Banjo Club could communicate with the Amherst Clubs and thus arrive at some common understanding. The matter certainly is worthy of consideration, and if such a concert could be arranged there is little doubt but that it would be well patronized and highly successful. We advise that the proper authorities at once take the matter in hand and see that it is carried out if such an event be desired.
