Tickets for 600 reserved seats were put on sale at Leavitt and Peirce's yesterday, and all were sold within two hours.

The University foot-ball team, which was picked on Saturday last, played its first practice game yesterday with a scrub team and was beaten 6 to 2.- Cornell Sun.

Thursday afternoon, on the Union Grounds, the Tech sophomores beat the freshmen in a game of foot ball by the score of 16 to 14. After the game a species of rush was indulged in.

Bates Colleges is the defendant in a will case involving $75,000.

A team, composed mostly of Yale juniors was defeated by the regular freshman eleven on Tuesday afternoon by the score of 18 to 4. The feature of the game was the running of Williams, '91.

Attention is called to the iron boxes that have been put up in the various buildings marked "Secretary's Box." These boxes are not for the use of students, but are exclusively intended for the use of instructors.

The Bergen Point Athletic Club has been reorganized under the title of the New Jersey Athletic Club of the City of Bayonne. A tract of land on Bergen Point has been purchased, and a club-house, boat-house and quartermile cinder track will be constructed.
