The Cambridge Horse Railroad has a new rule to the effect that hereafter all valises be carried on the platform of the cars. As the company does not hold itself responsible for such valises, it becomes more or less of an undertaking to see one's valise safely through its journeys to and from the city.
The new Ericsson statue at the corner of Chestnut Park and Commonwealth Avenue, in Boston, represents heif as shading his eyes with his hand and gazing earnestly towards the West. Why not face him to the North, looking down Chester Park towards the river and let him hunt for some signs of the "Harvard Bridge."
