Tennis Association.

Last evening the annual meeting of the Lawn Tennis Association was held in Holden Chapel before a moderately large attendance. In the absence of President H. Kuhn, '87, Mr. Paine, '88, called the meeting to order. The treasurer's report was then read but owing to lack of space it cannot be published till to-morrow.

Mr. P. S. Sears, '89, the present champion of the college, was elected president; Mr. T. S. Taylor, '89, vice-president; Mr. S. W. Sturgis, '90, treasurer; Mr. R. T. Paine, jr., senior director; Mr. H. M. Sears, junior director; Mr. E. Sturgis, sophomore director; Mr. Q. A. Shaw, freshman director.

A motion was made and carried that Mr. P. S. Sears and Q. A. Shaw be sent to New Haven as Harvard's representatives to the intercollegiate tournament to be held there next week; and that Messrs. P. S. Sears and H. M. Sears, Q. A. Shaw and T. S. Tailer, C. Bohlen and F. Keene, and Lee and Talant be requested to report at 2.30 p. m. on the Longwood Grounds to day.

These teams will compete together, and two of them will be sent to New Haven, but complete authority in this matter was given to the three general officers. The meeting then adjourned.
