Harvard Polo Club.- There will be a meeting on Thursday evening at 7 o'clock sharp, in 36 Beck Hall. Important business.

R. H. CROCKER, Secretary.The annual meeting of the Harvard Lawn Tennis Association will be held this evening at 7.30, in Holden Chapel. Officers will be elected, and important business transacted. All in any way interested in tennis are earnestly requested to be present.

Per Committee.Candidates for the freshman nine will meet on Holmes field at 4 o'clock to day. H. BATES, Captain.Harvard Y. M. C. A., Society of Christian Brethren, will hold its first regular meeting to night at 7, at the rooms in Lawrence Hall. All new students are cordially invited.

Candidates for the Freshman Banjo Club will meet at Holyoke 3, on Friday, October 7, at 7.30, sharp. Guitars and mandolins included. G. L. OSGOOD, JR., Manager pro. tem.

Thursday-Division A (Butters to Forsyth of the Thursday party) will meet Mr. Davis at 12.10 on the Museum steps.

Thursday-Division B (Griswold to Wood of Thursday party) will meet Mr. Wolff on the 12.30 train, Eastern R. R. depot, Boston; tickets for Clifton.

Friday-Division C will meet Mr. Wolff on 12.30 train, E. R. R., as above.

Saturday-Division D will meet Mr. Davis at 11.10 (ten minutes past elevcn) on the museum steps.

Every member of the parties should be provided with compass, clinometer, note book, and hammer. A satchel will be found convenient for carrying lunch out and specimens back. In case of rain, the interrupted excursion will be postponed to the same day next week.

Students who are to meet me tomorrow at Holden Chapel between 11.30 and 1 will please bring their tabular views; also a slip of paper, upon which may be indicated hours that are not filled. J. J. HAYES.
