The tennis tournament was continued on Saturday and yesterday with the following results:
SINGLES.Fourth Round- Q. A. Shaw vs. W. L. Kingsley, 0-6, 6-5, 6-3; G. W. Lee vs. R. D. Brown, 6 3, 6-5.
In the finals, Lee defeated Shaw in three straight sets-6-4, 7-5, 7-5-thus winning first prize in the singles.
Lee and Tallant then played the Sears brothers for first prize in doubles. The match was won by Lee and Tallant-7-5, 7-5, 6-4.
To-day, at 2 o'clock, Messrs. Lee and Tallant will play the present champions, Messrs. Snow and Tailer, for the championship of the college.
To-morrow, at 2 p. m., Mr. Lee will play Mr. P. S. Sears, the present champion in singles.
The drawings in the contest for second place are as follows:-
SINGLES.1. Preliminary- R. B. Hale vs. Q. A. Shaw.
First Round-2. T. S. Tailer vs. winner of No. 1; 3, P. S. Parker, vs. R. D. Brown.
Finals-Winner of No. 2 vs. winner of No. 3.
DOUBLES.1. Brown and Sturgis vs. White and Richards; Morgan and Bohlen vs. winners of No. 1.
