The Athletic Association of the University of Pennsylvan a gave an exhibition Friday at the university grounds in honor of William Byrd Page, the champion running high jumper of the world. C. W. V. Clarke walked a mile on rather heavy track in 7m. 18s. Mr. Page made a running high jump which broke his own record of 6 ft. 3 1-2 in. Tom Ray vaulted 11 ft. 4 in. Mr. Page was give a valuable gold watch.

The Bowdoin College fall races were rowed Friday. The four-oared race was contested by four crews. Jackson, Hastings, Adams and Russell won in two heats, Lyman of the class of '89 on two out of three heats in the single scull races
