There will be a meeting of the Institute of 1770, at their rooms, at 7.30 this evening.

HARVARD SHOOTING CLUB. Practice shoot at Watertown this (Thursday) afternoon. Take the 1.30 car. Cars leave the Square on the half hour, i.e. 1.30, 2.30, etc.

F. S. MEAD.At the meeting of the Harvard Union this evening the following questions will be submitted from which one will be selected for the following debate:

(1.) Resolved, That it would be to the interest of England to part with her colonies.

(2.) Resolved, That a system of uniform marriage laws would be highly beneficial.

(3.) Resolved, That the system of land taxation advocated by Henry George would be consistent with the best interests of the state.
