CAMBRIDGE, MASS., June 1, '86.

EDITORS DAILY CRIMSON. - We desire to enter our protest against the unfair treatment received by the "Peachblows" in regard to the game scheduled for the 31st of May. That date was agreed upon at a meeting of the captains of the contending nines, and no notice was received of the intended postponement until that morning, after several of our nine had come to Cambridge from their homes out of town at the greatest inconvenience.

As we do not recognize the right of even so high an authority as the Manager of the H. U. B. B. C. to postpone this game as a favor to one captain, without consulting or notifying the other, and in view of the facts stated above, we hereby enter our claim to the "Amateur Championship," this the final and deciding game having been forfeited to us by the umpire in accordance with the rules published in the CRIMSON of the 14th ult.

"PEACHBLOWS."
