There has been appointed a committee of the alumni who are now making arrangements for the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of Harvard College, which is to take place in the early part of next November. At the request of the committee, the presidents of the three lower classes are to call class meetings this week, in order that suitable representatives may be chosen to assist in making plans for the celebration. It is hoped of the co-operation of the alumni and undergraduates thus secured to make the occasion fitting to commemorate the quarter millenium of the oldest and the largest college in the country.
