On motion of Yale, Harvard at the last meeting of the Inter-collegiate Foot-Ball Association, was re-admitted into the league. We hail this read-mission with feelings of genuine satisfaction. The position that Harvard men hold in the ranks of the amateur sportsmen is marred only by our inferiority in foot-ball. The action of the faculty last winter and our return to the college league, have placed us where we can show that our prowess in athletics is not confined to rowing, base-ball, lacrosse, polo, and field sports.
