Freshmen will be interested to know that the results of the base-ball games will be posted at Leavitt & Pierce's.

Prof. Hart will lecture to-day in History 13 on "Congress, its appearance and methods of working while in session."

The performance by students of the University of Pennsylvania of a Greek comedy, the "Acharnians," by Aristo-phanes, will take place in the Academy of Music, at Philadelphia, on the evening of Friday, May 14, and the afternoon of Saturday, May 15. The play bids fair to rival our own representation of "Oedipus." Tickets may be obtained of C. W. Campbell, 1119 Chest nut St., Philadelphia.

The CRIMSON will place a nine in the field for the "amateur" contest this spring. J. A. Frye, '86, will be captain of the nine.

Tickets for the Pierian and Glee Club concert will be for sale to-morrow morning at Scver's, and by members of the societies.

In practice, yesterday afternoon, Chamberlain put the shot 40 ft. 2 in. This breaks the inter collegiate record by 1 ft. and 7 1-2 in.

Three men have been training to catch Bickham, the Princeton pitcher. In one game in which Bickham pitched, the catcher made no error.

A number of freshmen who went down to Providence on Saturday, nearly missed the train on account of the delicacy of the Providence waffles.

In some impromtu races yesterday Holt, '86, won the half-mile run. Wells, '86, giving his opponents 20 yards, won the quarter in fast time.

The Harvard grounds are like a billiard table of infinite size. The ball travels with incredible speed - from the bats of the Harvard men. - Brunonian.

Much amusement was occasioned at one of the base-ball games last week by the appearance of an Englishman who had never seen a game before. He was heard to ask why they forgot to place "a wicket on the crease."
