Mr. Allen, '87, received a violent blow on the nose from a foul tip while umpiring the class game yesterday afternoon.

Mr. Hood was thought to be recovering from a sprained ankle, whereas a careful medical examination showed that he is suffering from a bad fracture of the ankle.

An exciting game of base-ball was played by the Alpha Delta Phi and Zeta Psi, yesterday, resulting in a victory by the latter nine by a score of 22 to 12.

The score in yesterday's game between Princoton and Amherst is as follows: Princeton, 4 runs; base-hits 5, total 7; error, 1. Amherst, 2 runs; base-hit, 1; errors, 6.

The Chemistry V base-ball club with the long name, played the Chemistry VI ball club with the short name yesterday on the ball field near Felton Hall. The score stood 43 to 9 in favor of the long named club.

Yesterday's cricket game with the Longwood's was called on account of darkness. The Longwoods won with the following score: Longwoods, 77 runs and three wickets down; Harvard, 71 runs.

The Harvard Union meets to-night at 7.30 in Sever 11. The question for debate will be: "Resolved. That the Boycott is a Legitimate Weapon of Labor." The principal disputants are: affirmative, Edmund Platt, '88; J. H. Proctor, '89; negative, P. L. Sternbergh, '87; French McAffee, Sp.
