The re-arrangement of the Physics courses, as shown in the new elective pamphlet, cannot but please those interested in the subject and give increasing popularity to this branch of study. The courses are arranged so as to be interesting from the first, while there is a chance for a continued pursuit of the subject over at least two years without entering upon mathematical and severely theoretical ground. Physics 2 will be practically the same as the Physics C of last year, except that some slight previous knowledge is necessary, the student either offering elective admission physics, or taking Physics B, before or in connection with the course. The present members of Physics C will be allowed to take Physics 6 next year, instead of there being an advanced section of Physics 2.
Every student should look over this department carefully, as the courses are becoming exceedingly attractive with the improvements of succeeding years.
