A great number of men went over to Longwood to see the game between Sears and Pettitt.

The next game in the amateur series will be that between the Oxfords and the Berries, on Monday, May 17.

There are upwards of forty signatures for the '87 class dinner which is to take place on May 21st.

The H. U. B. B. C. is respectfully reminded that bases are a sine qua non in a ball game. Having taken the present amateur series under its care, the Association should see to it that proper arrangements are made for the scheduled games.

The Advocate is out this morning and contains a full and very interesting account of the annual dinner held on Tuesday evening.

The annual dinner of the Lampoon was held last night and was thoroughly enjoyed by all present. The after dinner speeches were distinguished by their bright wit an 1 humor.

The spring tennis tournament will begin next Monday, May 17th. Play will begin at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. sharp. All entries must be made before 7 p.m. to morrow. The book is at Bartlett's.

The lacrosse team will probably be arranged as follows in to-day's game: goal, Peck; point, Easton; cover-point, Williams; first defence, Goodale; second defence, Griffing; third defence, Weed; centre, Davidson, first attack, Gardner; second attack, Hood; third attack, Blodgett; first home, Hale; second home, Dudley.

The following are the officers of the O. K. Society from '87: president, W. Wetherbee; secretary, G. P. Baker; treasurer, M. D. Mitchell; librarian, S. B. Stanton. The second eight is as follows: F. S. Coolidge, W. E. Davis, F. E. E. Hamilton, F. C. Huntington, G. A. Morrison, F. S. Palmer, R. Robbins, W. T. Talbot.

The following men will play against New York University this afternoon: Latta, goal; Easton, point; Hood, cover-point; Goodale, Weed, Griffing, defence field; Gardner, centre; Towle, Davidson, Dudley, attack field; Hale, second home; Blodgett, first home. Substitutes, Sumner, Robinson.

The annual spring regatta of the Yale navy takes place on Lake Saltonstall to-day. There will be a race between the three eight-oared crews of '87, '88. and '89, and the 'varsity; four oared races between a junior and a senior crew, and between two freshman crews; and a single scull race for the Cleveland Cup between Messrs. Appleton and Bolton, '86.
