Inter-Collegiate Base-Ball Convention.

A LONG SESSION AND A STORMY MEETING.

DARTMOUTH WITHDRAWS.

(Special despatch to the CRIMSON.)

The Inter-collegiate Convention at Springfield yesterday was the stormiest known for years. Williams and the University of Pennsylvania sent delegates and tried hard for admission, with what result was not known at midnight. Dartmouth withdrew from the league. The last thing on the programme was arranging the schedule of games, and the fight on this continued till a late hour last night. The chances are that one of the above mentioned clubs will be admitted.
