The French department of the college has afforded many opportunities to the students at large to become acquainted, through the agreeable medium of evening readings with the standard works of French literature. We are sure that an effort to do something similar on the part of the German department would be gladly welcomed by a large number. All of us ought to be allowed to share the pleasure which those who are taking German courses experience in listening to Mr. Wheeler and Mr. Bartlett.
