It is not often that we have any criticism to make on the excellent arrangement of the apparatus in the gymnasium, but we would call the attention of the powers that rule to the condition of the handles of the new chest-weights. A small iron pin passes through the wooden handles, and, as the pin is not securely fastened, the handle frequently flies off, greatly to the surprise of the man exercising and to the detriment of the apparatus. It is very difficult to replace the pin, and consequently several pieces of apparatus are chronically out of order. We hope the needful repairs will soon be made.
