The legacy which we have reason to hope Harvard will receive by the generous gift of the late Edward Price Greenleaf, of Boston, calls forth the deepest gratitude from every friend of Harvard. It is too early to make any comment until definite information with regard to the bequest can be obtained. But, we may all hope that the report is not exaggerated, especially when we think what unestimable benefits can be procured by such a bequest. The erection of a new dormitory alone ought to immortalize the generous donor. However, it will be well to delay further comment until we can speak with more certainty of the bequest.
