The lunch at Memorial showed a marked improvement yesterday.

Messrs. W. S. Pinkham, '87; W. Barnes, '88; R. T. Paine, Jr., '88, and R. W. Keep, '87 have been elected members of the Finance Club.

The gold medal offered by the Pennsylvanian to the member of the U. of Pa. team who scored the first point against Harvard was withdrawn before the game took place.

The competition for the prize offered by the Glee Club for a college song has resulted in no award, insomuch as no song of sufficient merit was offered.

The tug-of-war team which will represent Harvard in the Seventh Regiment athletic sports in New York to-day, is composed of the following men. Easton, L.S., (anchor), Remington, '87, Chase, '88, Pease, '88.

The attendance at the rifle-range yesterday was not very large, on account of the severe weather. The best score in the rest match was made by Mr. Dickinson, 25 out of possible 30. The off-hand match was won by Mr. Paine with a score of 40 out of possible 50.

The Pennsylvanian remarks editorially: "Although in the Harvard-Pennsylvania contest we scarcely predicted a home victory, yet we did believe that Pennsylvania would score and make the game a brilliant and close one. As it was, our team played a good game, but their light - weight and bad initial policy counted against them, and they were fairly and squarely beaten."

In the 10 games played by Yale this season she has scored 689 points to 4 for her opponents. There have been 114 touch-downs made, from 90 of which goals have been kicked. Besides this Watkinson has kicked 6 goals from the field. Of the touch-downs Beecher has made 33, Morrison 14, Woodruff 13, Wallace 13, Watkinson 12, Gill 7, Corwin 6, Corbin 5, Wurtenburg 4, Carter 3, Robinson 3, and Buchanan 1.

"Dennison and Bancroft are going to Dartmouth next year; Knowlton, Harvard Medical School; Brainard and Aldrich will probably leave, while Hotchkiss is intending to enter Williams. Will Graves and Perrin of course will not come back, and there is a good chance of Haskell and Hamilton severing their connection with the school next summer. What a brilliant outlook we have for next fall."
