Note and Comment.

The following amusing passages occurred in the criticism of the "Index" which appeared in the Yale News of Dec. 14:

"In spite of the fact that the Crimson, in a recent editorial, condemned the formation of "proselyting" State Clubs at Yale, yet during the past year four such clubs have been started at Harvard, namely: The Rocky Mountain Club of Colorado and Wyoming, with 30 members, also the Clubs of Louisville, Omaha and Indiana, with 30, 22, and 25 members, respectively."

"In all there are about 60 societies of which the Co-operative Society and the Memorial Hall Association are by far the largest of the Greek fraternities."
