Wakeman, Yale's half-back, is seriously ill with typhoid fever, the result of exposure in the Yale-Princeton game.
The following officers of the Pi Eta from '88 have been elected: Pres., C. J. Rolf; Vice-Pres., H. E. Gale; Sec., W. M. Willett; Treas., N. E Bartlett.
The Princetonian suspends publication during examination period. The next issue will be on Friday, Dec. 17th this will also be the last issue of the term.
It is rumored that the freshmen are about to start a hare and hound club; they will have runs throughout the winter, using black p per for scent. that it may show against the snow. This is all very well '90, but it won't work with Cambridge snows!!!
The inter-collegiate base-ball averages which we publish to-day, were obtained from Mr. Chambers, secretary of the American College B. 3. A. The averages of the Harvard nine were made up for the "Index" from the official score book.
F. A. Ware, of Columbia, contested in the mile walk at the Seventh Regiment games. He did not win a place as a walker, but afterwards in the 100 yards run he took a second prize.
