The club held its first field meeting of the year at its grounds at Watertown this afternoon. There was a good attendance, the freshman class, especially, being well represented. The members showed their lack of practice, the scores running rather low, though no lower than is usual for the first shoot of the year. The next meeting will be on Thursday or Friday of next week. The leaders in the different matches are as follows:
Match A. [Former 1st prize winners barred]. 1st. W. Austin; 2d, Grew; 3d, Fredericksen, Greene and Sullivan.
Match B. 1st, W. Austin; 2d, Palmer; 3d, J. Austin and Mead.
Match C. 1st, J. Austin, W. Austin, Mead and Paine; 2d, Palmer, Clyde, Haskell and Walsh.
