At a very enthusiastic mass meeting of Princeton College, held Monday evening, the following resolutions were unanimously adopted.
First, that the Princeton-Yale football game must be played at the time and place distinctly named by the inter-collegiate convention; namely, in Princeton on Thanksgiving day.
Second, that Yale has made no efforts until this late day to have the convention's decision changed, and now offers no sufficient reasons for change.
Third, that Yale cannot be allowed to revive this year the article of the constitution which she showed she considered obsolete last year by playing in New Haven and by offering to play this year in Princeton, provided we granted to Yale the choice of referee.
Fourth, that Princeton has the right to expect Yale to meet the same conditions this year as Princeton met last year, as to both grounds and place.
To the demand that the Thanksgiving day game be played at Princeton, Yale telegraphed: "Cannot accept your conditions. Please consider this decision as final."
