A recent editorial in the CRIMSON as credited to the Yale News a remark concerning our "attacks upon the freshman eleven." We think that the remark should have been ascribed to the Courant. We are sorry for the misunderstanding but cannot but deplore the puerile spirit of the New's reply in which we are accused of coining questionable stories in order to fill space. The writer of the reply must have known that the mistake arose the habit of ascribing all that is distinctively Yaleism to the News.
