In the doubles for second prize Kuhn and Keep beat Parker and Amory, 6 - 2, 6 - 4. Tailer and Snow beat Kuhn and Keep, 6 - 1, 6 - 8, 6 - 3, 7 - 5.
In the singles, Kuhn beat Zerega, 6 - 5, 6 - 4. Snow beat Tailer, 6 - 0, 4 - 6, 8 - 6.
This last game was one of the closest matches of the tournament. Tailer had the score in the last set 3 - 2 and 6 - 5 in his favor, but Snow finally got the score 7 - 6, and in the last game seven deuces were played before it was decided after a long rally. The play lasted two hours.
Snow plays Kuhn to-day at 3 p.m. on the Beck Hall courts for 1st prize in the tournament.
Snow and Tailer will play the Sears brothers for the championship in doubles at 3 p.m. on the same grounds.
