The following clipping from the Lasell Leaves shows the state of the newspaper file at that institution "for the higher education of women:" "We hear that the only rival of the Harvard Lampoon now is the Police Gazette. We know little regarding the literary merits of the latter, but conclude its editors must stand as the head ranks of journalists to be compared to those of the Lampoon."
