Fact and Rumor.

The examinations in the Medical School begin to-day.

Junior forensics are returned to-day at Sever 11, between 3.30 and 4.30 P. M.

Over 40 men accompanied the Dartmouth nine from Hanover. Their cheering was strong and effective.

The different crews of our sister college, Wellesley, enjoyed their annual "float" Saturday evening.

Willard has not been blanked at the bat in any game that he has played this year. He has played in fifteen games.

Attention of seniors is called to the Class Day notice printed in another column. Its provisions must be complied with.

The Harvard cricket team was defeated by Longwood last Saturday. Score, Longwood, one inning, 107; Harvard, two innings, 71.

The postponed Harvard-Brown game will be played on Holmes Fidld, Monday, June 15th, instead of on the date previously announced.

The blanks for choice of electives for next year will be distributed to juniors, sophomores and freshmen on Monday, June 8, between 2 and 3.30 P. M. in U. 4. The choice must be made on or before Monday, June 15.

College games will be played as follows during the present week Dartmouth vs. Yale at New Haven, Wednesday; Dartmouth vs. Princeton at Princeton, Friday and Saturday; Amherst vs. Yale at New Haven, Saturday.

The descriptive pamphlet of courses in Politic 1 Economy is now ready at the office.

Yale was defeated by Princeton Saturday, by a score of 11 to 5. The attendance at the game was very large. Princeton's playing was marked by several brilliant features. Princeton led from the beginning, making runs in all innings save the second, and scoring four times in the 8th inning. Odell pitched for Yale, but succeeded in striking out three men only. Bickham was more fortunate in that twelve men retired before him. Yale made 26 errors, and Princeton 12. 15 hits with a total of 20 were made off Odell, and 6 with a total of 9 off Bickham.

The winners at the Yale bicycle tournament Friday and Saturday were as follows: Three mile race, D. E. Hunter, 9m. 45 1-5s.; one mile open race, L. B. Hamilton, Yale, '86, 2m. 45 2 5s.; one mile handicap, H. H. Stockton, on an allowed foul, 3m. 6 3 5s.; A. B. Rich came in first; two miles without hands, F. F. Ives, 6m. 39s.; one mile, 3.10 class, E. A. Hoffman, 3m. 7 1 5s.; 20 mile, Pope cup, D. E. Hunter, 1h. 14m. 5s. In this last race, by an unfortunate accident, H. S. Kavanaugh took a header and Hamilton and Hunter fell on top of him. Kavanaugh was considerably bruised and Hamilton quite severely injured. Hunter quickly mounted his bicycle and finally won the race.
