The new tier of seats recently erected on Holmes Field between the college hospital and the Hasty Pudding building will prove a considerable addition to the attractions of the field. While the style of architecture prevailing in the structure is not startlingly beautiful, yet, by contrast with the crazy, gaunt, old benches, it is rather refreshing to the eye. Moreover, the space between the two buildings is as effectually blocked as it would be if it were filled up with the fence which the authorities deny us, and thus the services of our policeman may be employed at some more exposed portion of the grounds.
