It is hardly necessary again to call the attention of the freshman class to the fact that it has been the custom in past years to elect two editors to the CRIMSON from the entering class. We do not care to accept men who have not shown interest in contributing to our columns. As election to the board is by competition, those who feel interested in an election must manifest their interest in contributions. There is good literary ability in the freshman class, and more than one member has already shown marked capability. But that we may be able to make a mature judgment and not fill the vacancy on the board too prematurely, we again call for a more extended interest among the freshmen.
