We publish to-day a second communication about the establishment of a course in Common Law. Our correspondent speaks only of the advantage to those preparing for the study of law. We think that such a course would be exceedingly valuable even to those who do not think at all of the legal profession. A knowledge of common law, such as might be gained from a full or even a half course of lectures, would be valuable to any man, regard less of his intended occupation or profession; while it would be especially valuable to one who was to become a business man. We believe that the establishment of a course in Common Law would be welcomed by the college at large, and would be attended with most beneficial results.
