EDITORS DAILY CRIMSON.- The Advocate has unknowingly made a statestatement unfair to the proposed Literary Monthly. In perfect good faith, the Advocate stated that the English Department would consider both papers on an equal footing. We have since learned that the Monthly has a promise from three instructors which gives it an advantage, as in the selection of themes. We much regret this mistake; it arose from a misunderstanding on our part, and we hasten to correct it.
