HARVARD POLO CLUB. It is earnestly requested that no member of the Polo Club play upon the grounds at Watertown before further notice is given, owing to the present softness of the turf.
By order of the Ex. Com.H. U. B. C.- A championship cup has been offered by two gentlemen of the University to be competed for annually by single scullers. The race will be held under the auspices of the Boat Club, in the first week of June, probably. As an encouragement to beginners, a second cup is offered by the H. U. B. C., as a prize for the best single sculler, who has never rowed before this spring.
