The elective system at Harvard has its latest development in the determination of students of the medical school to have lectures on homeopathy, in the face of the refusal of the faculty to permit such heresay to be preached from any pulpit under their control. This is an extension of the system which was perhaps unlooked for by the college authorities; but it is logical, and, what it more to the point, the boys are set upon having it.-Record.
