The sale of tickets for the Hasty Pudding Club theatricals in behalf of the university boat club, was all that the gentlemen in charge could desire. A few hours after the sale began every seat was spoken for, and many applications remained unfilled. Now comes a fresh cry for tickets from those who did not know when and where the sale was to take place, and also from those who applied too late to have their orders filled on Saturday. To meet this new demand the club has consented to give an extra performance in Boston on Monday next. There can be but little question of its success. Eighty-four gave a third representation of their play, "Hernani," which was in every way successful; and judging from the way in which "Joan of Arc" was received last week in New York, there can be no doubt that it will be well received in Boston, and capable of filling three good houses.
