The following men have signified their intention of trying for positions on the second nine: S. S. Watson, '85; H. Bartlett, '85; E. E. Rankin, '86; D. B. Chamberlain, '86; J. B. Newhall, '85; E. Bisbee, '87; S. A. Houghton, '87; T. R. Varick, '87; G. P. Baker, '87; A. B. Potter, '87. It is expected that other candidates for this nine will hand in their names within a few days.
Cornell is to have a series of thirty two lectures on Social Science.
