About 30 members of the Bicycle Club, with their invited guests, sat down to the annual club dinner at Young's, last evening. The guests were President Thurber, of the Brown University Bicycle Club, and Mr. Morrison, '83, late president of the Harvard Bicycle Club. When the cigars were lighted, after discussing the excellent menu, Mr. T. T. Baldwin, '86, the toast-master, called up the following gentlemen to respond to the subjoined toasts:
"The Harvard Bicycle Club," President F. W. White, '85. "The Brown University Bicycle Club," Mr. Thurber. "Past Members," Mr. Morrison, '83. "Associate Members," Mr. Bradford, '86. "The Annex," Mr. Hobbs, '85. "Class of '85," Mr. W. W. Winslow. "Class of '86," Mr. Lyman. "Class of '87," Mr. Robbins. "Class of '88," Mr. Sullivan. "The Summons Boy," Mr. Frye, '86. "U. 5," Mr. Mason, '86. "Music," Mr. Perkins, '87. "The New Members," Mr. Appleton, '87. Interspersed with the toasts were songs by a quartette composed of Messers. Mason, '86, Winslow, '85, Harrison, '86, and Perkins, '87.
After the toasts came stories, each member present being called upon in turn to entertain the company. Solos were given by Messrs. Mason, Harrison, Perkins and Winslow, and a duet by Messrs. Hobbs and Frye. The officers of the dinner were, F. W. White, '85, president; F. T. Baldwin, '86, toastmaster; A. G. Mason, '86, chorister; M. C. Hobbs, '85, C. L. Harrison, '86, and H. G. Perkins, '87. committee.
