We are very glad to see by the notice which we publish this morning, that our contemporary, the Advocate, has obtained by far the larger part of the subscriptions desired; and we shall be still more pleased to hear, in a short time, that the entire number has been obtained, and that the bi-weekly journal of Harvard is again upon a sound financial basis. Our students do not, it is true, step forward with any too much readiness to support the college papers, but when once the true nature of the case is put before them, we do not have to appeal in vain. Indifference holds them back, not a disregard for the success of our journalistic enterprises.
