The meeting last night was a small one, owing to the state of the weather. It was called to order by President Adams at 7.30, who read Prof. White's letter. The following gentlemen were then elected to the conference committee: Messrs. E. R. Thayer, Pierce, Garrison and Lund. Mr. Adams also read a letter from the manager of the crew stating that about half the necessary amount for sustaining it has been raised, and that a second subscription will be taken at once. The meeting then adjourned.
