The university which has for some years been in progress at Tomsk, in Siberia, is approaching completion. $549.000 were assigned to the commission charged with carrying out the work. The Government contributed 300.000 rubles, and the remainder of the money has come from private sources. It is intended that the university shall have a complete staff of professors.
