By the regulation that the library shall be closed half an hour before sunset, all students who have recitations at three o'clock will be deprived of the privilege of taking out reserved books for the next two months. This is just the time of year when there is the greatest demand for these books, and the regulation causes much inconvenience and annoyance. A petition is at Bartlett's requesting that the time for taking out reserved books be extended to quarter past four. Every student ought to sign this, and without delay. The authorities can hardly refuse to grant us this slight boon.
