The Bicycle Club run yesterday was indefinitely postponed on account of the weather.

The Glee Club has already received invitations to give concerts in neighboring towns.

The great amateur pedestrian, Tyler, '86, accomplished his great feat of walking to Worcester in 14 hours, thus winning his wager by six hours.

The freshman eleven that plays Exeter to-day, is the same as the one which played at Southboro with the following changes: McKean plays full back, and Perry in the rush line; Austin plays quarter back instead of Noble.

The first seven of the Signet from '87 are, Furber, Hamilton, Rich, Rust, S. H. Smith, Stedman and Weed.

An effort is being made to introduce lacrosse at the University of Pennsylvania.

At Brown the number of cuts allowed for each half year is thirty-six, eighteen from chapel and eighteen from recitations.

President Porter of Yale yesterday handed in his resignation to the Corporation of Yale College to take effect at the next commencement.

It is estimated that the various members of the Columbia School of Practical Mining brought home a ton and a half of specimens last week.

There will be no mid-year examination in N. H. 4, but two one hour examinations will be substituted for it. This has given great satisfaction to all students in the course.

The fourth ten of the Institute of 1770 is as follows: A Churchill, S. R. H. Codman, I. R. Thomas, G. B. de Gersdorff, H. W. Sampson, J. W. Austin, D. K. Snow, G. B. Leighton, J. E. Reynolds, F. L. H. Noble.

The Yale eleven goes on Saturday to Boston to play the Institute of Technology. On Tuesday the eleven and substitutes began boarding together at a training table. The following are the men: Peters and Crawford, '86; Coxe, Corwin, Burke, E. Caldwell, Bigelow and Hare, '87; Beecher, Lux and Wallace, '88; Buchanan, Watkinson and Woodruff, '89; Hamlin. '87 S; Carter, '88 S. Loring, '87 and Ronalds, '86 S, both have water around the knee and it is yet uncertain whether they will be able to play.
